Business development manager - Hospitality Recruitment - Berkeley Scott Limited - London

You will be responsible for identifying, contacting and converting new clients and opportunities. You will also be helping to convert lapsed clients and help strengthen relationships with existing clients. As one of the senior members of the team you will be expected to help our consultants.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the hospitality industry. A background in recruitment isn’t necessary – however a knowledge of catering and ability to sell are essential. The role would suit an experienced recruiter who prefers the sales aspect of the job, or someone with a background in sales for a catering supplier, such as food or linen.

We can teach you about our business but you will need to have a good understanding of the hospitality industry to succeed.

The role requires you to be a self-starter and motivated to get out in front of clients as much as possible. You will be targeted on the new business brought in so you will need to be confident about sitting in front of clients and pitching our services.

We can offer a strong basic salary depending on experience and an attractive bonus scheme. There are also regular incentives including lunch at a top restaurant or an all-expenses paid trip abroad – the last two were Cyprus and St Anton!
