Bookings Co-ordinator Initial 3 month contract - YNA - YOUR NICE APARTMENT - Great Dunmow CM6


JOB DESCRIPTION
We are a young and growing start up travel company specialising in managing apartments and villas in the South of France, Ireland and Cyprus. We require a person to take on the role of Bookings Co-ordinator. This an initial 3 month contract, so we are happy to employ a student for the holiday season. BUT, we are also happy to employ a person who is seeking a full time permanent position and in this case the job will be reviewed after 3 months. You will be part of a small hands on team and the first port of call for guests enquiring to book. You will need to get to know 150 properties in 3 countries on our web site very quickly and be able to answer queries about these properties using the information on the site. We will be there to help you initially until you feel confident and after this period there will be shift hours required so you can answer queries in the evenings and weekends.


ESSENTIAL:
Very computer and IT literate as you will have to use our bookings system.


Excellent writing skills and eventually verbal skills answering enquiries by phone.
We need a fast, efficient, logical and independent person who can handle a multitude of tasks as this is a small company with a lot going on!


HOURS: Full time 30 to 35 hours Shift pattern Weekdays and weekends. THIS IS A 3 MONTH CONTRACT. Potential to become permanent OR suitable for a student holiday period


SALARY: £8 per hour for initial 3 months.


AREA: Great Dunmow


JOB ROLE


Customer Service:
Answering guest enquiries via email and telephone
Dealing with last minute bookings, booking changes and cancellations


Admin:
Loading content on our website and other marketing platforms
Managing reviews from guests and inputting these on website
Using our in house content management system


SKILL SET


Computer literate and very internet savvy as will be required to use a variety of applications and in house bookings system (training will be given with the latter)


Have an excellent phone manner and email etiquette


Experience of handling customers a bonus


Excellent team spirit and people skills


Good Problem solving skills


Meticulous with a good attention to detail


Highly motivated and independent
