Job Category: Content Decanter is looking to recruit an Account Manager to promote and sell entries for the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) and Decanter Asia Wine Awards (DAWA). The major focus of these sales will be wine producers from Italy, though the Account Manager will also have responsibility for other smaller markets (eg Greece, Cyprus, Turkey). Key responsibilities include The ideal candidate will have experience of business to business sales. They will be well organised, good at planning their time and able to structure and monitor a sales campaign. They should be confident liaising and negotiating with people at all levels and from different nationalities. They should enjoy communicating with people on the phone as well as by e-mail, and at fairs or events. Fluency in Italian in a business context is essential. The candidate must be a great team player who is prepared to go the extra mile to achieve team objectives. They will be used to working under pressure and will have very good attention to detail. They must be prepared to travel. Knowledge and an interest in wine would also be useful. |
