Project Manager - Bromcom Computers Plc - Bromley

The role

The Project Manager will be fully responsible for leading and managing the Deployment activities for large deployment with multiple schools such as MATs and LAs within the company. The person will be also responsible for continuous improvements of the processes and services provided under this area. The person will be responsible to handle all large deployment projects from the beginning of Sales Handover, contacting and agree project plan with customers until go live date and the project is signed off by the customers. Every stage of the progress needs to be monitored, planned and reported to department managers. The Project Manager will also be assigned projects based on opportunities in Turkey and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, hence Turkish communication skills will be highly beneficial.

Responsible to
This role reports directly to the Head of Customer Services (for Deployment).


Duties/areas of responsibility
The position will involve the following areas of responsibility:


· Gather all requirements and details of new customers at the Sales Handover stage


· Create new customer record with relevant contact details and keep them updated until deployment is completed within relevant system(s). The person will need to make sure information is properly cascaded down to other systems (SupportDesk, Support Site, etc.).


· Perform Discovery Day session with the customer over the phone or with a site visit – based on customer’s profile


· Prepare detailed deployment plan with the customer at the beginning and sign off the deployment plan at the end


· Work closely with IT and Deployment Support to make sure everything is going as planned


· Review and improve the related processes to increase the efficiency and success with the deployment projects


· Discuss customer’s conditional sales items with development team and inform the customer with the progress


· Monitor the resources for upcoming deployment projects well before the time the resources are needed and inform and be in communication with the management to make sure necessary actions are taken for the required resources.


· Perform Deployment CRM at the end of each deployment


· All stages of Deployment need to be documented and stored in relevant systems (SupportDesk, SharePoint, etc.)


· All customer communications and activities need to be recorded and stored within SupportDesk


· Monitor the company services (internal and external) and make sure necessary capacity is in place to support new customers


· Weekly Reports need to be created with an overview of the running and upcoming deployment projects.


· Support Sales Team on their queries regarding to Deployment of prospects and if necessary be in communication with prospects to answer their questions or concerns


· Welcoming to new customers/prospects when there are tight timelines and other challenges. Aim should be to find solutions with the management to overcome the problems


· Prepare responses to the tenders (related to deployment, training, migration) which are assigned by bid manager and present to potential customer as part of the bidding process


· Support Sales Teams in any pre-sale opportunity from deployment perspective.


Skill Requirements
· Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal


· Good Turkish communication skills


· Able to work on own and under pressure


· Self-motivated


· Good time management and priority handling


· Initiative to find answers to new questions


· Professional working attitude


· To be able to work under pressure and company defined timescales


Salary range
Starting salary from £40,000 pa to £50,000 pa and bonus
