Bookkeeper - Limassol, Cyprus - AP Personnel - Cyprus Station
Our client, a leader in the asset management sector, is looking to hire a Bookkeeper to be based in their Limassol offices and support their Accounting department. The successful candidate should understand the aces of accounting, have a broad knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and Cyprus VAT system. Previous experience in an international environment within an accounting or fiduciary firm is mandatory. Further on, the candidate should be able to work under pressure, do multitasking and be prompt in responding to incoming requests. The successful candidate will be a graduate of accounting, with at least 5 years of previous experience in corporate admin/ accounting background. Fluent English, both in writing and spoken is a must. The role will entitle, among other, to review and process on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis accounts for offshore and Cyprus companies, assist in VAT reviews, prepare payments and billing reconciliations with creditors, liaise with auditors and coordinate with external institutions as per the needs of the company.
