A well established commodities broker is looking for a Systems Engineer to join their offices in Larnaca, Cyprus.
Some of the responsibilities will be:
Configuration, administration and maintenance of the company’s database cluster of servers
Optimisation of support services
Ensure the efficient functionality of all I.T. hardware equipment to its full capacity
Conduct research and development on infrastructure initiatives
Define I.T. policies and security measures and ensure implementation
The successful candidate will have
A BSc in Computer Science or relevant field
At least 2 years’ experience in using languages such as PHP, Python, Bash and SQL *
Previous experience in infrastructural virtualisation procedures/VMware and cluster environments
Previous experience in a gaming or forex environment will be of high advantage
Fluent English, any additional languages will be considered as an advantage
