2G/3G RF Engineer

We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunication company to support their project in Northern Cyprus.

Position Title: 2G/3G RF Engineer
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: July 2016
Duration: 3 months rolling
Location: North Nicosia, Northern Cyprus

Responsibilities:
– Monitoring and analysing radio network KPI.
– Network optimization with GSM and UMTS technologies.
– Responsible for customer satisfaction in terms of quality of the network, familiar with methods of network optimization services.
– Making plans to improve network coverage and quality.
– Con-checking and optimizing configuration parameters, neighbor, etc.
– Outputting optimization reports.

Qualifications/Skills Required:
– 8+ years of RF planning and optimization experience (2G/3G).
– Min. 5 years of GSM optimization experience and min. 3 years of UMTS optimization experience.
– Experienced with Huawei optimization tools and equipment. Ericsson experience is preferred.
– Very good parameter function understanding and hands-on experience.
– International project experience.
– Bachelor degree or above telecomm major.
– Excellent communication skills with customers and subcontractors; goal oriented personality.
– Languages: fluent English (Chinese preferred).
