Potters Bar, Herts, EN6 : Full-time nanny housekeeper needed for a lovely family with a 3 ½ and 1 ½ year-old. They are looking for someone to work live in, Mon – Fri working 7am – 7pm earning a salary of £400 net per week. The candidate will be provided with their own large loft with an en-suite bathroom and own living area. Childcare duties : The 1 ½ year-old will be at nursery 3 mornings a week starting from September and the 3 ½ year-old is at nursery full-time. You will be responsible for all nanny duties when the kids are not in nursery and will need to be flexible to do 2 nights of babysitting a week open to working occasionally on a Saturday if given advance notice. Housekeeping duties : This is a fabulous new 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom home spread over 3 levels. You will be responsible for doing cleaning when the kids are at nursery and keeping the home neat and tidy in general. Cooking : The family would like for the candidate to do cooking for the children on a daily basis, and sometimes for the whole family. The family enjoy healthy dishes but their current Nanny cooks them some Indonesian dishes and they enjoy those as well. The Candidate : The ideal candidate needs to be fit and active to keep up with the children. The family are looking for someone who is looking to commit for the long term, so longevity in your CV will be beneficial. The candidate will also need to have at least 5 years’ experience and it would be beneficial but not essential if the candidate had a driver’s license. Good communication skills are also essential. Pets & Travel : The family usually travel during the summer time, so you will need to be flexible and willing to travel with them to Cyprus.
