Assistant Accountant_Nikosia



Optimal HR Group on behalf of its client in Cyprus is looking for an


                             Assistant Accountant in Nicosia


 


Main Responsibilities:


  • Booking the accruals and prepayments

  • Cash reconciliations

  • Monitoring of the fixed asset schedule

  • Review of the accounts payable function

  • Quarterly review of the debtor and creditor positions

  • Ad hoc financial analysis of the P&L

  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts

  • Assisting with year-end statutory accounts

  • Support in the forecasting and budgeting process

 


Requirements:


  • University degree in Finance /Accounting

  • 1-2 years’ experience in similar position, in real estate/property sector is a must

  • Fluency in Greek & in English

  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Certification by relevant association will be considered a plus

  • Highly detail oriented and organized

  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction
