Optimal HR Group on behalf of its client in Cyprus is looking for an
Assistant Accountant in Nicosia
Main Responsibilities:
- Booking the accruals and prepayments
- Cash reconciliations
- Monitoring of the fixed asset schedule
- Review of the accounts payable function
- Quarterly review of the debtor and creditor positions
- Ad hoc financial analysis of the P&L
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Assisting with year-end statutory accounts
- Support in the forecasting and budgeting process
Requirements:
- University degree in Finance /Accounting
- 1-2 years’ experience in similar position, in real estate/property sector is a must
- Fluency in Greek & in English
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Certification by relevant association will be considered a plus
- Highly detail oriented and organized
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction
