SOX Manager - IGT - Watford

Detailed Role:
Management of monthly balance sheet reconciliation process

Liaise with Finance managers to ensure req’s are provided which are specific to local site balances and adequate backup and narrative provided to support all reconciliations

Work with HCL (Cyprus) to ensure reconciliations of banks and various other balance sheets accounts allocated to the Cyprus finance team are updated on a monthly basis with adequate backup and narrative.

Update and maintain SOX controls spreadsheets and trackers (Revenue and Financial Close processes)

Maintain Month end folder of reconciliations available for audit review

Key contact for internal Audits for SOX controls

Key contact for external Audits for SOX controls

Support the year end and statutory audits, co-ordinating audit request and responses

Develop and maintain best practices for IGT Global Services

Annual review and updates to SOX documentation in co-ordination with Corporate

Meet regularly with Corporate counterparts to ensure consistent approach across the business to SOX compliance

Par-take in SOX project management office meetings as representative from International

Support future international SOX compliance rollouts

Maintain IGT Global Services website, containing, contacts and SOX processes and controls information to the international team.

Review bi-weekly payment proposal and check approvals

Support HCL with processing queries as required in relation to SOX controls.

Experience Required:
5+ years audit/accounting/finance experience – minimum 2 in audit, preferably big 4

2+ SOX experience

Good communication skills

Good facilitation/project management skills

Ability to work with senior management on a day to day basis

Qualified accountant (ACA/CPA)
