Our Profile

Located in Limassol, SkillStock is an IT company dealing with Software Development and Customer Support. For our Development Team we are looking for QA Automation Test Engineer. With at least 3 years work experience in test automation.

Your Tasks

• Implement and develop automated test practices for both web and windows applications primarily using Visual Studio’s Coded UI module for both web and windows applications.


• Design and create test scripts using C# to address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability in preparation for implementation.


• Work with the colleagues to define process and strategy associated with automation.


• Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.


• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope/ delivery dates.


• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems


• Select and develop appropriate test automation tools, applying the latest techniques in test automation; e.g., data-driven testing.


• Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects.


• Participate in the Change Control Board to identify the quality implications of known bugs and the impact of proposed changes to product definition on the testing process.


• Work with the Release Engineering team to create and maintain an automated nightly build verification (“smoke”) test.


• Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.

Your Profile

• Must have a degree in computer science or related subject


• Proven experience developing automated test systems using Visual Studio’s Coded UI module for both web and windows applications.


• Ability to create scripts beyond record and playbackusing C#.


• Specifically developing functions, adding control flow logic, loops etc.


• Experience working with GUI object recognition and customisation.


• Experience testing ASP.NET, .NET 2+, SQL, WPF + Web Forms .


• Solid understanding of object oriented programming, design and debugging skills.


• Excellent understanding of software design techniques.


• Experience of source control systems and configuration management.


• Experience in Agile development methodologies preferable.


• Proven ability to deliver quality results in a busy and dynamic business focused environment.


• Experience in Kendo UI and/or Devexpress UI


• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, XML, JQuery, Ajax and WCF is considered an advantage


• Basic level knowledge of XML and RDBMS concepts.


• Being ableto work efficientlyin an agile environment


• Experience in agile development processes like SCRUM (desirable)


• Fluent in English language
