KS2 MS/UPS Teacher - Dhekelia - Ministry of Defence - Cyprus Station

Are you a Key Stage 2 Teacher who loves teaching mathematics in particular and would like to develop the mastery approach across the school with the math’s team?

Our ‘Good’ School is in search of a KS2 Primary Teacher starting in September 2016 or as near thereafter. If successful, you will join a talented team as an Upper KS2 teacher. The person appointed will teach Year 6 at Dhekelia Primary School which serves the British Military community in Cyprus. This is a fantastic opportunity to help to shape the school in the most fantastic setting.


Applications are welcomed from dedicated and inspirational teachers with KS2 experience; you may be a very talented NQT towards the end of your induction year. Experience of teaching in year 6 is essential, high expectations of the new curriculum and assessment procedures, as well as recent Year 6 SATs experience. You must have a proven track record of outstanding mathematics teaching, and a desire to shape mathematics across the school.


You will become an integral part of the team, tasked with developing the school further. The SLT are pro-active around CPD, ensuring all staff are invested in through regular CPD, coaching and mentoring, observations and sharing best practice.

Qualifications UK QTS and successful completion of the induction year at time of post commencement. Benefits Pensions Civil Service pension schemes may be available for successful candidates. Allowances Tax free allowances are linked to marital status and family size.


A tax free Cost of Living Overseas Allowances is payable based on personal circumstances and marital status.


Additional child care allowances may also be payable.

Subject to Status, relocation expenses will be available and a tax free transfer grant maybe payable.
