Our client is a successful and award winning tour operator who is seeking an experienced Travel Sales Executive to join it’s friendly and busy team. This expanding and well known tour operator offer a wide range of luxury holiday types to many destinations including Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Gibraltar, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Egypt, Morocco, Dubai, Turkey, Barbados and Bermuda . This exciting travel sales executive role entails a wide range of tasks in which no day will be the same, this includes:
• Selling and arranging upmarket and luxury tailormade holidays to the
discerning traveller including direct customers and travel agents.
• Achieving and exceeding company, team and individual objectives
relating to sales targets, productivity, product knowledge and
attendance/punctuality.
• Building and maintaining great relationships with travel agents, direct
customers and industry partners.
• Deal with any administrational queries.
• Maintain accurate information on the company’s products, commercial
campaigns and ancillary services.
• To go that extra mile for the customer to obtain repeat business
• Offering a cutting edge customer service.
What are we looking for?
• Must have at least 18 months to 2 year’s experience in an independent
travel agency and/or a tour operation (or similar selling environment).
• Educated to a good level in Maths and English
• Must have strong computer, CRS and administration skills.
• Must be a dynamic sales professional with proven sales ability.
• Must be self-driven and results oriented.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must have excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to negotiate prices and availability with suppliers
• Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
